The Camp Five Museum is the perfect destination to go to when you’re visiting the Laona area. The place was carefully constructed to interpret the forest industry, transportation system, and history of Wisconsin. Inside the museum, you will find the various items and artifacts that correspond to the logging history and blacksmithing of Wisconsin. There is even a short film shown which is called the “Northwoods Saga”. Other parts of the Camp Five Museum will take you to the Rat River Natural Wildlife Tour that will take you to a short excursion of the riverbanks in the area. You can also take a trip around the area riding the Lumberjack Steam Train. If you’re also a nature lover there’s the Nature Center exhibit that has a collection of wildlife extensive geological rock collections.
