The Miller Art Museum has been a venue for artists young and old to learn more about the culture and arts. You should thank the founders Gerhard and Ruth Miller who were avid patrons of the arts, they wanted to cultivate the historical significance of art in the area and let the rest of America know about it. Each year there are 7 rotating exhibitions that feature exceptional Wisconsin artists from early 20th century to the present in painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography. Expect to see beautiful works of art from young artists to experienced artists that are for everyone to enjoy. The most recent exhibits were: Schomer Lichtner and Ruth Grotenrath, Abstractions, 37th Annual Salon of Door County High School Art, Wisconsin Wildlife Biennial XV, and Christopher Winters. Admission is also free so you won’t have to worry about anything.

Monday – 10:00am – 8:00pm
Tuesday-Saturday – 10:00am – 5:00pm

Thanks to the museum’s commitment in promoting the arts, there are special art programs that kids and adults are sure to enjoy. You can enroll your kids in programs like the Paper & Scissors, Clay Tile Design, Jewelry with Beads & Wire, Exploring Pastel, Coil Basketry, and even Nature Painting in Watercolor.
