The San Diego Natural History Museum is one of the most respected and oldest cultural and science institutions throughout California. The museum has been well-known for a variety of previous exhibits such as the Fossil Mysteries: From Dinosaurs to Mammoths. This exhibit allows viewers to ponder on a mystery, examine strong evidences of fossils from the collection of the museum, as well as use scientific tools so that answers can be discovered.
Previously, the museum has been able to showcase exhibits such as the history of backyard monsters, dogs, and even chocolate. But the exhibit that has really marked the museum on the map of California is the presence of the Dead Sea Scrolls. They also have their very own Giant Screen Theater.
The museum is open on a daily basis from 10am until 5pm. Admission to this museum costs $16 for adults, $14 for seniors (above 62 years old), $11 for active military personnel, students (13-17 years old), and $10 for children (3-12 years old). Children below 2 years old as well as the members of the museum do not need to pay for admission anymore.
